The  MEDICRAFT ANALGESIOMETER Mark ­ III has been developed as an improvement on the Eddy’s Hot Plate to provide an efficient and quick method of screening analgesics.

The  MEDICRAFT  ANALGESIOMETER - III or Eddy’s Hot Plate consists of a clear plastic chamber, floor of which is heated to the required degree of temperature between 30 to 80°C and maintained constant within a few degrees by a solid state temperature controller and indicating galvanometer.

The test animals may be inserted either from the top of the chamber or by tilting the chamber. Provision exists from inserting a thermometer.
