The MEDICRAFT ELECTRO-CONVULSOMETER is one of the basic instrument for the Pharmacology laboratory of Medical Colleges, Pharmaceutical concerns and Research Institutions, which are devoted to the study of Anti-Convulsant and Anti-Epileptic drugs, whether for education, screening or manufacturing of drugs.

 MEDICRAFT presents its most versatile and compact ELECTRO-CONVULSOMETER, designed and perfected after a number of field trials in the related field. The MEDICRAFT ELECTRO-CONVULSOMETER has been accepted as a standard unit.

 The MEDICRAFT ELECTRO-CONVULSOMETER provides 50Hz Stimulus Current variable from 0.25mA to 360 mA through three controls for producing minimal and Supra-maximal seizure in small animals, required in the determination of anti-convulsant and anti epileptic properties of the drug under test .The duration of Stimulus current is variable from 0.1 second to 1 second in steps of 0.1 second. Higher duration may be obtained manually.

 MEDICRAFT ELECTRO-CONVULSOMETER operates from 220 volts 50Hz A.C. line. The unit is housed in a compact Steel metallic Box, the front Panel consists of all the controls and indicators. The unit is supplied along with 3 pairs of Corneal electrode of cup size 4, 6, 8¸ mm and a pair alligator clips as pinnal electrode as standard accessories

An operating manual is also provided along with the instrument.
