An entrance  compartment through a door. 

The discrimination chamber which is divided into alley-ways having wire grids as floors to make it possible to shock the animal.

At the end of each alley-way there is a window for presenting a visual stimulus by lighting the bulb .

A built-in electrical unit provides light for visual stimulus and variable intensity electrical shock to either grid.

Doors are provided at the end of the alley-ways to permit the animal to go into the food compartment.
